Music Checkup

 A few months ago my partner Rashell Broderick decided on a song for our final project. The song Rashell and I picked was by award winning Kanye West. I really wanted this song so as a result I sent Kanye West a email asking him if we could use one of his songs for our project. I still haven’t gotten a response. I am afraid that if I don’t get a response soon then I won’t be able to use his music in order to do the project even though i can do it without this song. Either way the song we chose from Kanye West was our best option. Therefore making it the best suitable song for our project meaning I want it very very bad. In response to not being able to get a reply, we decided to email again. This time I did ask a little bit differently. Just like the another email i mentioned that I  am a high school student. I did this so he can view us as minors therefore not forcing us to pay a fine. Not only that our tone changed as well. In the first email my goal was to sound very educated so I ended up using excessively large vocabulary and now I see that that wasn’t needed. In comparison the second email was more casual, I got my point across without having to use over excessively large words. I think this will have a better impact on a response because it will make a scene more approachable and relatable. While the first email did not give off that feeling but instead the opposite. All in all having Kanye be able to approve me to use of one of his songs would be a great honor I’m looking forward to.

Im Ready!

 Hey there, nice seeing you again, its me David Brown and I have a story to tell you. I have just received the instructions of the final project. I am absolutely excited for this opportunity. I have an entire semester of knowledge and I think I am absolutely prepared for this assignment. The project seems like a bit much overall, but with the help of my teachers and my partner I think this is a challenge I can take on. Not only that this project also seems very interesting. The project allows me to go through a differing process that can end up teaching me a lot. Also the project allows me interact with a celebrity of my choice. My New Group

 For this project I have decided not to work with the same partner I worked with before on the previous project. In the past I worked with one other person her name was Aljeanae. The group I was in before was not necessarily bad but instead it just wasn’t my preferred environment. The work ethic and the work done wasn’t very comparable. I enjoyed doing the project before very much and I also enjoyed my partner I just believe it could have gone smoother. In the moment dealing with her I didn’t realize the difference in our work. This quickly changed after the assignment was done and the CCR was complete. I decided the best decision was to just separate myself from the partner entirely and start over. Not only that, another thing to take into consideration is that I am able to work with people outside of our class for this project. Also all the work will be done off of the campus.
