 Before finishing all of my recordings I decided to start something else while waiting for the next recording day. I can not record whenever I want because my partner and actors live in a completely different place then me. I also need them to get any new clips so I wouldn't be able to record until a day we all are free. In response instead of just sitting here and waiting I decided the best thing to do would be to start editing what I already have. So that is exactly what I did. I decided to open up CapCut. Which is the editing program that I use as stated in earlier blogs. I put all of the the current clips inside of CapCut and began to see what I could necessarily do with it and starting trying out new things. As a result for not having an audio or the full amount of clips I wasn't able to do much, but I was able to do several things. Some of these things include testing out how my opening sequences could come in. I was able to find out a proper order of events for my clips.

Yesterday I had my first real day recording. I was honestly amazing. I had the most fun I had with this project. Yesterday reminded me of why I chose the group and actors I picked. It honestly reminded me how good my actual team was. I regret no decisions made when it came to picking my team just because of how smoothly it went. The procedure went according to plan. Rashell was the main one recording she explained her ideas while I explained my ideas. We ended up compromising on every single disagreement, which is something that I love the most because there wasn't any arguments. Everyone was being reasonable. Not only that I am also very grateful for my actors as well. They were really easy to work with and very compliant. All in all the first day recording was a real success. The next time we record I know will be even better. I know this because the next time I record will be the last day of me recording. Today was very stressful for me. Today as implied by the title I checked my emails for Kanye West's reply. I still haven't gotten one. I find this to be a very unexpected terrible predicament. I find this to be extra stressful because that he author's the song that I wanted the most. As a result I am not able to use his music without his consent. I was told not to stress about it because Kanye is a busy man and he may not get back to me right away, but the due date is right around the corner. I dont have enough time to wait around for a reply. I have to start right away in order to finish my project and have it done at the best possible. In response I think I am left with no choice to discuss an alternative plan.  I will bring it to my partners attention the matter at hand and ask if we should use a different song instead. As previously stated this is a result of the late reply. Kanye has not responded to us yet and we are getting backed up against the wall. So I have come

 I’m so excited for Sunday. Sunday will be our first time filming any scenes for our opening sequence. That was the planned date between all of us. Which includes me and my actors. Sunday was the only day that all of us would be able to come to the scene and perform as best as possible. The reason being because all of the actors are busy during the week because of jobs, extracurricular activities, or school. As a result this kind of dims our chances of recording from Monday-Thursday on Friday mostly all of actors and staff including me have church which enables all participation from anything after school. Lastly on Saturday’s our location for recording are always packed. The excess amount of people wouldn’t completely grasp the initial idea of the opening sequence. It would actually defeat the purpose and therefore making other minor details in order to make the genre of the film “coming of age” useless.  Disregarding that, as previously stated Sunday will be the first day of filming.

 A few months ago my partner Rashell Broderick decided on a song for our final project. The song Rashell and I picked was by award winning Kanye West. I really wanted this song so as a result I sent Kanye West a email asking him if we could use one of his songs for our project. I still haven’t gotten a response. I am afraid that if I don’t get a response soon then I won’t be able to use his music in order to do the project even though i can do it without this song. Either way the song we chose from Kanye West was our best option. Therefore making it the best suitable song for our project meaning I want it very very bad. In response to not being able to get a reply, we decided to email again. This time I did ask a little bit differently. Just like the another email i mentioned that I  am a high school student. I did this so he can view us as minors therefore not forcing us to pay a fine. Not only that our tone changed as well. In the first email my goal was to sound very educated so I e

 For me today was a very eventful day. Today entailed several needs of preparation before starting work. The first thing I worked on was the scheduling. I Had a very long discussion with my actors and was able to come up with a reasonable time is it fit their dates. Not only that I was also able to map out the time we will be at  Each different scene. It was severely hard especially because the places we would like to horror scenes are several miles apart. Doing that while still trying to Accommodate actors is a hard job. I was lucky that I was able to do it today and it all went smoothly. If I add a timer for quoting something were to backfire or not going according to plan we still have a back up plan. The scheduling is complete. But the hard work to end there.
