First Time Editing
Before finishing all of my recordings I decided to start something else while waiting for the next recording day. I can not record whenever I want because my partner and actors live in a completely different place then me. I also need them to get any new clips so I wouldn't be able to record until a day we all are free. In response instead of just sitting here and waiting I decided the best thing to do would be to start editing what I already have. So that is exactly what I did. I decided to open up CapCut. Which is the editing program that I use as stated in earlier blogs. I put all of the the current clips inside of CapCut and began to see what I could necessarily do with it and starting trying out new things. As a result for not having an audio or the full amount of clips I wasn't able to do much, but I was able to do several things. Some of these things include testing out how my opening sequences could come in. I was able to find out a proper order of events for my clips. Even though it wasn't much editing I was happy that I was able to get work done.
All of the editing was used as preparation. As the manager of the editing for this project I was very proud. Now we do not have to stress about several things in the mean time, all I have to do is just finish things up. I am very proud of the editing that I accomplished. I have not doubt in my mind when I receive the sounds and the rest of the clips, it will turn out amazing. This project makes me more and more proud every time I dedicate time into it.
