All Done

 Today was the day. We are all done. We used all the clips we recorded to make the project. Today was our last day of editing. I am so proud of the work we did. I put my heart and soul into this project. The editing made me very stressed. At a certain point of me editing I wasn’t able to figure out muting the sound on the videos. This resulted in the background noise interfering with the actual music playing. It was very stressful but I was able to figure out the problem. The problem was my fault, I clicking on the incorrect button. Needless to say the project took a lot of work but I was able to finish it.

Regardless I am kind of angry about the project in a way. I feel as if this isn’t the best project I could’ve made. I put in as much because possible but I just didn’t feel like it was good enough. I did by myself up over it. But my partner help me understand that it was not going to be perfect and I set to high of expectations. Overall this experience was amazing and I’m proud of myself.

Music clipping??

 Today Rashell asked me to do the weirdest thing. She asked me to clip audio. I never heard of that one. I heard of cutting, trimming, even deleting but clipping? Anyways she explained what she meant and it was pretty easy from there. When she asked me to do that, I was editing the videos together so she can help with the different clamps, and sounds. It was honestly not that hard, but for some reason my thing kept on buffering, but I have patience, unlike Rashell. She kept calling me, telling me that this work was hard but we go enough done. We just got off the phone from figuring out the audio, and when I figured it out, she got pissed. Like extremely pissed. I don’t know why she did. She asked for help and I helped her. Than she made some dumb reference to Harry Potter about wands and magic pictures? Trust me, I love the wizarding world, but that was so irrelevant. Back to the topic at hand. What is the take away from the video?   I have gained knowledge and identified all the aspects and things needed to make a film. As a result, I learned how to write, how to produce, and how to post-produce. I learned that I could be better prepared for future filming.    What good information did you gather while watching  it?   The entire production process will require you to budget and utilize the resources you have at your disposal. When editing, cut the scenes down until you can't anymore which will result in the film being reduced to just the most significant parts. The key to making a successful film is preparation. Storyboards are never final; the film may still need to be altered. Stick to a theme and a tone and let it guide the story. If you do not do so, it will confuse the audience. Funniest day ever!

 I’m back blog! Let me tell you, today was the funniest day ever. Me and rashell were filming and she was so angry. I could not stop laughing, and she was about to beat me up. I did have to make sure her anger didn’t cause her to quit filming and I had to help her with shots and angles. I didn’t have a problem with it, seeing as she was my partner and it is OUR project. It was still really funny though. I feel like we could’ve gotten more done had it been a little warmer and it wasn’t as dark outside. It was also a school night. I really love working with this girl, she made sure we had on the right clothing. She kept us on task (whenever she wasn’t angry). I did a lot as well, I helped direct a lot of the shots, and was a really good camera man. I found a lot of good spots to film in the mall.
