 As stated in the last blog I started editing for the final project already. It was long and rough but I did start. Even though I did not finish editing because I didn’t have all of the clips it was used in preparation. I thought it was a good idea to get the voice of a different person. As a result I asked for the advice of another. The person i asked advice from was my old track coach. I asked him because he was unbiased. Not only that he has no idea or knowledge about the filming industry. I added that point because a person with no knowledge of this has no other obligation but to base the video off what they see. That is the answer I am looking for in result. A answer that is authentic is the best kind because it shows you an outsiders point of view. After showing him the video he gave me a few pointers. Genre Research- Coming of Age

  Coming of age CAMS- Most coming of age films don’t have camera work in their opening sequences but when they their CAMS would be.. Tracking Shots (always following the main character some where) Pan (main character maybe being followed from the side) MIS-EN-SCENE- not a lot of this in an opening sequence but when there is it’s normally… costumes are pretty casual teenage clothing, nothing out if the ordinary  makeup is natural, nothing dramatic unless the character has a specific look to portray props would be based on scenes, if they are at school then they’d have a bag, or a phone lighting all depends on location, and the mood of the scene. sadder scenes, darker lighting. happier scenes, brighter lighting the acting always depends on the plot, which is normally depending on whether the main character is a girl or boy if there is acting in the opening sequence, then it would probably be acting that misleads the audience from what the actual plot of the movie is Editing-...

  This short film is about a group of teenage friends and with hidden love interests. Rory likes Rebecca but another friend in the group continues to antagonize him. Rory snaps and turns to violence by blowing up a shop.  A) camera angle/shots- - Close-up -Mid shot -Pov shot -Shot reverse shot B)sounds and lighting - Ambient sound -Incidental music -Low lighting Mis-en-scene- -Causal clothes -Park setting - Fake blood -Fireworks Believed it was cringey, it reminded me of  -My Babysitters a Vampire
